Coming down the stretch, a lot of the pretty stuff is going in.
- All of the siding is finished on the house.
- Obvious front door is obvious.
- Front window with outside light fixtures. The dirt on the shutters can be cleaned off with a wet cloth.
WOOD!
The kitchen cabinets are going into place!
- Area where the dishwasher and kitchen sinks will be. The island will be centered underneath the hanging lights.
- The dual cabinets will be on either side of the fridge. The top part of these cabinets are normal shelving, the bottom 2/3's are all roll-out cabinets.
- Empty spaces where the dishwasher, microwave/range, and oven will be.
The hardwood laminate floors are also down, but were covered for protection, so I couldn't get a good picture.
TILE!
- The tile is down in the kitchen!
- Pictures of the spare bathroom upstairs. Tile looks good :)
- Tile floor in the master bathroom. Lovin' that shine. :) Billy mentioned that the tile floor will be slippery when wet, so pray we don't crack our heads open.
- Close-up of the tile around the bathtub.
- Stand-up shower in the master bathroom. So pretty...
FANS!
Gotta stay cool when the humidity kicks in this summer...
- Fan in the master bedroom.
- Fan's in the living room, 'office', 'nursury' (stop laughing, this won't happen any time soon), and the spare bedroom.
OTHER STUFF!
- Foyer chandelier looks good...
- Yeah.... that's gonna go back... little close to that globe.
- The stainless steel beer cabinet aka refrigerator. Will get a better picture when it's set.
Well, that's all for now. This Saturday will be the final removal of the kitchen from my grandparent's house blogged out much earlier on this site (county requires the kitchen to be removed). On the plus side, Billy mentioned that the carpet will be layed this coming week. Steph and I just cut a wonderful check for the granite countertops, so if those get installed, pictures shall be taken of those as well.

Well, we went down to the house today and I had my camera with me. So, here we go!
- First, a quick video look from the front yard, the clicking is the camera getting mad because of the lighting.
- The wells are dug, as you can see with the cement tops.
- Still don't have the front porch steps yet, so we'll work with the board for right now. We're thinking hard about security, so the door was padlocked.
- Picture from the master closet. Home sweet mudpuddle. 
- Massive amounts of stuff in the garage. Trim is sitting on top of the boxes with the cabinets inside.
- EEK! 
Gonna need to call the company.
- The under board for ...... something.
All of the floors have been spraypainted!!
- Video of the painted kitchen area.
- Bay window is looking purrrrrty.

Our Doors:
Our doors came in and now they're all installed.
- Master bedroom closet doors. See the little door behind it? The doors are actual door latch doors. Nice.
- Reverse picture from inside the closet.
- Picture from one of the spare bedrooms. All of the doors swing inside, so that's nice.
Basement Stuff:
- The foam for the carpet. Guess what the off-white columns on the ground are?
- The carpet is here!
- Water heater sittin' pretty.
- We love saving money.
- American Standard air conditioner/heater. The blue DSI thing is alien to me. Dunno what it is.
- Latin on the American Standard box.
Any ideas? 
- It had a sticker on it saying to keep it at 2PSI. I'm not touching it.
Stuff We Bought:
- Fan blades that will be in the bedrooms. See the cherry color? I know, we like it too.
- Chandelier for the dining room.
- Porch lights, there are two of them. :)
- The porch lights with what Joey calls the 'nipple' lights for the hallways.
- Steph modeling the front door lights. The giant blue cord? Telephone line.
- Spare upstairs bathroom faucet.
- All of the goodies for all over the house. Kitchen sink joke not needed, make your own.
- The tile is in for the bathrooms and the kitchen!
- The off-white tile on the left (extreme shiney sheen not shown) will go in the bathrooms and the sandy color tile of the right will be for the kitchen floor.
Outside Stuff:
- What's that outside?
- COWS! It's official, we are in the country. 
- Piping for underground water drainage.
- The gutter drain on the back of the house. I'm guessing that the piping will go underground and away from the house here.
- I'm still a rookie homeowner, but for the life of me, I'm going to smack myself when someone tells me what this is.

More Shopping... 
- The porch fixtures in the first part of this blog entry were miscounted when we originally ordered them (we ordered 2), so we picked up four of these guys.
- There's what it looks like.
- We needed to buy a few more 'nipple' lights for different parts of the house, like our closet and other places around the house.
- Front of the box.
- We went ahead and purchased high-effiency, Energystar-compliant light bulbs for all over the house. We think that the builder will credit us for the lights so that he doesn't have to buy them. If not, oh well, we have $150 worth of good bulbs.
That's all for right now. I'm going to watch the NFL Playoffs now.
